# What is AI Chat?

Cosverse AI Chat lets you interact with advanced AI models through a fast, conversational interface. You can ask questions, draft content, analyze files, brainstorm ideas, and get real-time answers for work, study, research, and everyday tasks.

AI Chat supports text prompts, voice input, and file uploads. This makes it useful for content generation, document analysis, summarization, technical help, and general AI-assisted productivity.

### Input types

#### Text to text

* Enter prompts in plain language.
* Works for short questions and detailed multi-paragraph requests.

#### Speech to text

* Use voice input to speak directly to the AI assistant.
* The built-in speech-to-text system converts your voice into text automatically.

### Attachments and file support

AI Chat supports file uploads for richer context and better answers. You can attach documents, images, and structured data files for AI analysis.

* Supported file types: `.jpg`, `.jpeg`, `.png`, `.webp`, `.pdf`, `.txt`, `.csv`, `.json`, `.md`, `.html`, `.docx`, `.pptx`, `.xlsx`
* Supported image formats: `.jpg`, `.jpeg`, `.png`, `.webp`
* Upload limit: up to 10 files, with a maximum size of 20 MB per file
